The Holy Bible is the Inspired and Infallible Word of God

A foundational fundamental belief in the Christian faith is that the bible is the inspired Word of God given to man by Holy men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The bible written by the hand of men through the leading of His Spirit is in each and every word the absolute, infallible, inerrant Word of God. There is no power in the universe greater than the Word of God. The creation of the universe was ordered by God’s Word.

Two key verses in the bible give us a direct revelation that the bible has been given to us by the inspiration of God through the Holy Spirit.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

“But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.” (2 Peter 1:20-21)

These two verses tell us without any other possible interpretation that the bible was written under the inspiration of God by Holy men who were led by the Holy Spirit. The scriptures in the bible have been given to man and are profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and the training in righteousness so that we will be equipped for our Kingdom work in His service.
